I bought this paper mache box at Hobby Lobby for $3.27 and painted the main part. I tried putting velum over the top but it bubbled and looked awful. I also got the flowers at Hobby Lobby. When I bought everything it was 50% off so the whole thing only cost $9.66 which isn't bad seeing as the flowers were $12 without the 50% discount! It was really fast too, only one night of work, after Kenzie went down, so about 2 hours all together.
I bought a square canvas at Hobby Lobby and painted it. I bought the flowers from Target, they are in the scrapbooking aisle. I used puff paint for the words, it didn't turn out like I wanted it to but I can't change in now, I am definitely going to have to find something else for my summer sign. So far I have made one for Halloween, Winter and now Spring. It took a bit longer because I had to wait for the yellow layer to dry and it took a lot longer because it is on the other layer of paint. Let me know if you have any ideas for the words, so that they will look a little neater.

More great ideas! Thanks for sharing.
Maybe you could use stickers for the words? Or those foam letter stamps that you use acrylic paint with. I've seen them at Hobby Lobby and Michael's. With a coupon or the sale price I think they're usually under $5, plus you can use them over and over again.
I did not know you had this website...or did not remember! great ideas.
